A female dentist from Lucknow has taken her own life in Bengaluru, after facing constant harassment from a co-worker. The victim, who worked at MS Ramaiah Memorial Hospital, was being pestered by her colleague, Sumit, who also worked at the same hospital.

According to the police, Sumit had been trying to force the victim to marry him and had also been compelling her to consume alcohol and smoke. He was also pressuring her for money, but she had refused all of his requests.

After being rejected, Sumit became angry and started spreading rumors about the victim’s character at the hospital. The rumors reportedly caused the victim to take drastic action, leading to her suicide.

The incident took place on January 25th, and the Sanjaynagar police are currently investigating the case.
